Sustainability
This site runs on green EU hosting. Here's what that actually means.
gkanev.com is checked by the Green Web Foundation - a non-profit that verifies whether a site is hosted on renewable energy.
For context: every gigabyte of data transfer uses about 1.8 kWh of energy, which works out to roughly 475 g of CO₂ per kWh. A site with 100,000 visitors that's served from green infrastructure can avoid more than 46 kg of CO₂ a year compared to a typical setup.
